于崇信簡介

巴圖·札奇，漢名于崇信，1936年生於內蒙古喀喇沁旗，在北京長大，1949年隨父母移居台灣，1956年考取師範大學藝術系，畢業後赴法國遊歷。1967年回母校任教，1973年入美國猶他州楊百翰大學深造，1977年獲藝術碩士學位。現與家人定居加州。于崇信曾在美國各地舉辦個展，作品被海內外多家藝術機構收藏。

About the Artist

Yu Chung-Hsin (Batu Jagchid) was born in Kharachin, Inner Mongolia in 1936 and grew up in Beijing and Taiwan. He received his MFA from Brigham Young University. He has taught art at the National Normal University of Taiwan, New Asia College of Hong Kong, and the Department of Fine Arts of Brigham Young University. He paints in both Chinese and Western vernacular, employing a broad range of media from oil to watercolor.  His work is collected by the University of New Orleans, Loyola and in the Fine Art of China annual. He is also the member of the Chinese Art Association. His work has been collected internationally: National Museum of History (Taipei), Fine Arts Museum (Taipei), 450 Broadway Gallery (New York), Office of the Secretary of State (Sacramento, CA), Sunnyvale City Hall Gallery (Sunnyvale, CA), Springville Museum (Utah), and the annual Chinese Art Association Exhibition.
